 Come learn to envision, write, revise, and perform original rhymes - from local rappers working and performing in our area. Fly Write is a team of professionals, artists, educators, and community activists who will guide tweens and teens in this free six week program focusing on elements ranging from song structure, rhyme patterns and vocabulary to hip hop culture, the music business, and professional music production. Participants of this program will gain the ability to work through writer’s block, express their ideas and feelings, and find their true voice in a community of supportive peers and mentors. Lunch will be provided.
